Sewee Center grounds and Nebo trail and Nebo ponds are open to pedestrian access during daylight hours when the front entrance gate is closed. Visitors must park outside the gate, on the paved road shoulder. Please do not block the entrance gate.

Gardening for Wildlife with Native Plants June 22, 2024

Sewee Visitor and Environmental Education Center, 5821 North Hwy 17, Awendaw. 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Call 843-928-3368 to Register for Program. Fee: $10.00/ person. Many bird and pollinator species are undergoing declines due to habitat loss and most yards provide low quality habitat. Ecologist and Master Gardener Sharleen Johnson introduces gardening with native plants to support pollinators, birds and other wildlife.
