Wednesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Sewee Center grounds and Nebo trail and Nebo ponds are open to pedestrian access during daylight hours when the front entrance gate is closed. Visitors must park outside the gate, on the paved road shoulder. Please do not block the entrance gate.

The refuge does not charge an entrance fee

Refuge Designated Beach Area Closures

Designated beach areas are closed on Lighthouse Island, South Cape and North Cape Islands for the nesting of shorebirds and seabirds. These islands will be assessed on a continual basis to determine the opening and removal of signage. White Banks and Marsh Island remained closed for the season due to the abundance of nesting birds.
