Weekly birdwatching walks, led by volunteers, meet at 8 a.m. on Wednesdays in front of the visitor center. Bring your own binoculars and stay with the group as long as you like.
Stop by the Education Center for our Second Saturdays of Summer event, beginning Saturday, May 11. This open-house style event features a variety of hands-on, family-friendly activities that are sure to make your visit to the refuge a special one. Open every second Saturday of the month through September, from 9 a.m. until noon.
Look for announcements for free guided walks. Families are welcome. No reservation needed.
Our 37th Annual Summer Lecture Series beings July 10 and runs through August 28. Lectures are held on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m., in-person only. This event is free, but seating is limited. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the Norm Dicks Visitor Center Auditorium. Parking at the refuge is free for those attending the event. Check the calendar for speaker and topic information.
