One of the best ways to experience the refuge is participating in a ranger led program. Ash Meadows NWR offers a variety of ranger programs throughout the park, and throughout the year.

| Senior Sundays | 1st Sunday of the month | Locations change monthly. Check on Facebook for up to date information. This program does not run during the hot summer months. June through September. It resumes again in October. |

| Night Sky Program | TBD | Usually in October |
| Monthly Hikes | 4th Saturday of the month | Information for each hike can be found on Facebook. There are not hikes led June - September due to extreme desert heat. |
