Three youth use binoculars in a wetland

Whether you're visiting the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center or one of a number of other waterfowl production areas, you are bound to find an abundance and variety of birds, insects and other invertebrates, mammals, reptiles, and/or amphibians which live here through the seasons.  Use as many senses as possible, bring binoculars if you have them, and search quietly and persistently in all directions while you explore.  Hike over distances or stay put in one place and wait for wildlife to find you.  We invite you to connect to nature and wildlife during your visit.
