Capture will occur in Allegan County, Michigan, and captive breeding will occur at The Toledo Zoological Gardens, Toledo, Ohio. Activities are proposed for the purpose of preparation for future reestablishment of populations in historical areas of the species' range for the purpose of survival and enhancement of the species in the wild.
