About This Position

The Rhode Island National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) Complex consists of 5 National Wildlife Refuges across the state of Rhode Island: Ninigret NWR, Sachuest Point NWR, Trustom Pond NWR, John H. Chafee NWR, and Block Island NWR. Sachuest Point and Ninigret NWR's have Visitor Centers that are open 7 days a week, year round, thanks to the support of volunteers.

Volunteers must be available to cover at least 2 shifts a month. Volunteers request to be "regular" to have a weekly slot, or "alternate" to fill vacant slots when available.
