Mushroom Grow Bag Workshop at Wolf Creek NFH

Eric Sanders of Friend of Fungi Farm partnered with Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery to host the Culinary Mushroom Grow Bag Workshop. Eric shared how he got started propagating mushrooms, equipment needed, biology of fungi, and answered many questions the twenty nine participants had. In addition to the wealth of knowledge provided by Eric, each participant left with their own grow bag inoculated with oyster mushrooms and recipe cards for Eric's favorite oyster mushroom dishes. The grow bags were expected to fruit twice in the grow bag, and could provide as much as fifty pounds of fruit once placed outside in the proper growing conditions.
