About Makenzie Foster

Makenzie Foster is an Environmental Education and Outreach Specialist at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery. Makenzie attended Eastern Kentucky University where she earned a B.S. in Animal Studies. She began her professional wildlife career volunteering at Wolf Creek National Fish hatchery in Jamestown, Kentucky before becoming their Biological Science Aid for three years. In March of 2020, Makenzie began her employment at Erwin National Fish Hatchery, stepping in to assist with all hatchery programs and maintain environmental education projects. During the summer of 2022, Makenzie accepted her current position at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery.
