About Jimmie Garth

Jimmie Garth, Fish Biologist, joined the staff at Edenton in January 2017. Jimmie serves as the species lead for Gopher Frogs and Lake Sturgeon but assists with all other species as needed. He assists Fish and Wildlife Conservation Offices with seasonal monitoring efforts on many of our regional priority species (Alligator Gar, American Shad, Atlantic Sturgeon, and Gulf Sturgeon). Prior to his stint at Edenton Jimmie worked at the Carterville FWCO-Wilmington Substation doing invasive Asian Carp removal on the Illinois River and Chicago Sanitary and Ship canal.
