Cooperative Agriculture Opportunities at San Luis Valley National Wildlife Refuge Complex

San Luis Valley National Wildlife Refuge Complex near Alamosa, Colorado, has cooperative agriculture opportunities for sheep grazing for up to five years on approximately 5,500 acres of Alamosa refuge, approximately 9,000 acres of Monte Vista Refuge, and approximately 15,000 acres of Baca Refuge.

To be considered, applicants must complete the bid package available on the Alamosa NWR, Monte Vista NWR, and Baca NWR websites or by emailing Assistant Refuge Manager Dean Lee at dean_lee@fws.gov. Applicants must also attend a pre-bid onsite briefing and formal inspection tour. Applications must be received or postmarked by 4:30 pm on February 27, 2023. Applications may be submitted by email to dean_lee@fws.gov or by mail or hand delivery to San Luis Valley NWR Complex, 9383 El Rancho Lane, Alamosa, CO 81101.

Successful applicants will be selected through an open and competitive process. All applicants will be notified by March 10, 2023.
