The Mōlī (Laysan Albatross) Lifecycle Program
Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge provides programming for more than 500 second and third grade students from Hanalei to Līhuʻe each year. Students take part in three classroom sessions before visiting the refuge, where they can observe wildlife life cycle stages in person.
Transportation costs are covered by the Friends of Kauaʻi National Wildlife Refuges, as funding allows.
Teachers interested in participating should email KauaiNWRC_Education@fws.gov by Oct. 15.
