Biking

Biking is a good way to see wildlife, learn about habitats and photograph nature. At Turnbull NWR, biking is allowed on public access roads. Always yield to pedestrians. Riding off-road and on trails is prohibited. E-bikes are permitted on any public access refuge roads where traditional bicycle use is allowed. Extra caution is advised when riding on refuge roads since most are unpaved. Mountain or hybrid bikes are recommended. Please pack spare parts and wear all appropriate safety equipment, including a helmet and high-visibility clothing.
