Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge

Wildlife can be seen from a variety of locations throughout the refuge. You may catch sight of wildlife from your car window or on a hike down along one of our three trails. Our refuge features a pollinator / native plant garden located behind our Visitor Center. Gaze out of the viewing window from our visitor center and zoom in on birds using the binoculars and scopes provided. Birders can use our checklist (available at the Visitor Center) to track their sightings.
