2024 CA JDS Best of Show Artwork winner: "Sunshine Ducklings" colored pencil painting by Olga Sergienko, age 16, from Sacramento depicting an American Wigeon on the water.
2024 Best of Show Conservation Message: Youth entering the contest also submit a conservation message with their artwork. Lorie Wu, age 14, from Saratoga, wrote the winning message — “Yesterday, nature was a miracle. Today, it is a gift. Without conservation, tomorrow it will be a memory.”
