Huliauapa'a

Huliauapa‘a is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to educate and empower students, communities, and professionals on the stewardship of Hawai‘i's wahi kūpuna (ancestral places). Huliauapa‘a collaborates with various community groups, educational institutions, landowners and archaeological firms to provide education, training, and assistance in the preservation, stewardship, and management of cultural and historical sites throughout Hawai‘i.

Partner Category

We often partner with non-governmental conservation organizations on conservation projects, whether it's to conserve identified species such as the monarch butterfly or to advise on land acquisition for conservation so that it has the greatest benefit for species.

Here we partner with a wider variety of other organizations on projects to meet shared conservation goals.

The future of conservation lies in the hands of today's youth. We partner with youth-based conservation groups to foster a love of the outdoors and a stewardship ethic in our youth.
