Green Bay Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office

About Us

Established in 1992, the Green Bay Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office is the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s fisheries and aquatic resources conservation hub for the entire Lake Michigan basin and its watersheds.

Our Mission

The Green Bay Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office was established to provide fisheries and aquatic assistance and expertise to our partners around the Lake Michigan basin. We use a science-based approach to conservation. Our work is in partnership with other agencies and the public in the realm of conservation management with a focus on native and threatened/endangered species as well as our tribal trust responsibilities.
