The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), has conducted an environmental analysis in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 19691 (NEPA), as amended. The final environmental assessment (EA) dated March 2025, for the proposed amendment of the Renewable (Wind and Solar) Energy, Power Line, and Communication Tower Habitat Conservation Plan for the Lesser Prairie-chicken; Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas (HCP) addresses the potential effects of approving the proposed amendment and authorizing an amendment to the 2021 incidental take permit (permit) (Permit Number ES89394D) in accordance with Section 10(a)(1)(B) of the Endangered Species
