Join a refuge staff member for a guided snowshoe hike along the Ferry Way Trail (2 miles) at Great Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Newington, NH! Bring cold weather gear, water/snacks and snowshoes, if you have them; we may be able to supply a few extra pairs. Learn about the wildlife, habitats, maintenance operations, and management of this special place.
MEET UP INSTRUCTIONS: We will meet at the Great Bay refuge main parking lot at 3 Arboretum Drive, Newington, NH 03801. Please be careful in selecting your navigation route. Some mapping systems will send you via McIntyre Road. You cannot get into the refuge that way. Please make sure you use the 3 ARBORETUM DRIVE route.
