Canaan Valley has not always looked as it does now. While we have come to be familiar with the open grasslands, the ski trails in the mountains, and the barren rocks of Dolly Sods, this region was once very different in appearance. Join ACE member Zoe as she discusses the natural history of Canaan Valley and how we ended up with the valley we know and love today.
