June 8th, the Friends of the Norfork National Fish Hatchery will be hosting their kids fishing derby (ages 2-15). The event will be held at Quarry Park, just below Norfork Dam. As that weekend is free fishing weekend in Arkansas, no one will be required to have a fishing license to bring their kiddos. Please bring your own fishing pole and bait/tackle. Hotdogs, water, and chips will be provided for everyone at noon. Registration begins at 8 A.M. and fishing will begin at 9 A.M. We hope to see you all there and can't wait to be a part of your big fish stories!
