Get to know North Tract and search for nests and baby birds. We will explore wildlife drive and highlight some habitats and trails that are great for birding. Beginners welcome!
Some of the species that breed at North Tract: Blue-gray gnatcatcher, Brown-headed Cowbird, Northern Parula, American Redstart, American Robin, Wood Thrush, Ovenbird, Summer Tanager, and Acadian Flycatcher.
This tour will mostly involve driving and a little bit of easy walking. Trails are gravel or natural surface and generally not very steep. Accessible facilities on site. (Ages 10+)
Please bring:
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Water
- A snack (if you like)
- Binoculars (if you have them).
