Have you ever seen a plant, bird, or bug and wondered what it was? Join refuge staff to learn how to use the Seek app to identify natural organisms, share observations with scientists, and see what you can find on the refuge. Before you come, please install the Seek app on a phone or tablet and set up an iNaturalist account. Bring the phone or tablet, water, and suitable clothing for the outdoors.

Can't make it to the event? You can still participate! During the month of October, your iNaturalist observations on refuges will automatically be added to our BioWatch project, documenting the biodiversity of the refuges! Get started at our BioWatch Project page on iNaturalist.
