Biking

Bicycles must remain on roads that are open to motorized vehicles.

Boating - non-motorized

Non-motorized boats are permitted on Waterfowl Production Areas.

Arod WPA is the only WPA that allows the use of motorized boats.

Camping

Camping is prohibited on the Blackfoot WPA, except for that strip of land between Brown's Lake and the County Road located in the W1/2NW1/4, Section 21, T14NR11W.

Cross-country skiing
Many refuges in the country's northern tier have backcountry trails that can be used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in season. Some refuges lend gear or rent it at low cost.
