Staff at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery were honored to receive the Kentucky Association for Environmental Educators Outstanding Community Partner Award at the 2023 KAEE Conference in Cave City, KY! 

This award is reserved for those best exemplifying dedication, commitment, and influence in the field of environmental education. With the numerous fishing derbies, workshops, community-partner events, and countless school groups, Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery strives to meet these elements each year. Executive Director of KAEE, Ashley Hoffman, had this to say about the hatchery:

Environmental Education/Outreach Specialist, Marsha Hart, accepted this award on behalf of Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery at the awards luncheon following the end of conference educator sessions.
