About Andrew Hartzog

Andrew (Andy) Hartzog is a Biologist with the Fish and Aquatic Conservation Program at the Panama City Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office. Andy has a background in freshwater mussel ecology, biology, taxonomy, and identification from his days at Columbus State University. He also participated in freshwater fish and mussel propagation programs at Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery in Georgia. Andy's current mission is to combine mussel conservation and habitat restoration initiatives through effective, collaborative partnerships at the local level.
