Grazing and Haying Opportunities at Upper Klamath National Wildlife Refuge

Upper Klamath National Wildlife Refuge near Klamath Falls, Oregon, has two cattle grazing opportunities on the Barnes Unit and one field for wild grass haying. The grazing and haying units can only be accessed through private land, so it will be the responsibility of the selected cooperators to acquire access.

To be considered, bidders must complete and submit the bid materials available by request from Mike Johnson at (541) 783-3380 or michael_r_johnson@fws.gov. Applications must be received no later than 4:30 pm, July 28, 2022. Sealed bids may be emailed to michael_r_johnson@fws.gov or submitted by mail or hand delivery to the Klamath Marsh NWR Office: Klamath Marsh NWR, 21401 Silver Lake Rd., Chiloquin, OR 97624.

Successful bidders will be selected through a competitive highest bid process. All applicants will be notified by August 5, 2022.
