Boating and Kayaking
Within refuge boundaries, boating and kayaking are permitted only in designated open-water areas, not in salt marsh salt marsh
Salt marshes are found in tidal areas near the coast, where freshwater mixes with saltwater.

Public boat ramps are available at Bayfront Park and Pepper Park. Nearby marinas include Loews Crown Isle Marina and two marinas in the Coronado Cays.
