Free Programs on the National Elk Refuge
Discovery Drive | Mondays - Thursdays | June - August | 8:30-11AM
Join a Refuge Naturalist for a free driving tour of the National Elk Refuge. Reservations are required and can be made in person at the National Elk Refuge Visitor Center. Program is geared towards adults.
Dig into Nature | July 8 & 22, August 5 & 12 | 1-2PM
Join a Refuge Naturalist at the Teton County Public Library (Jackson branch). Topics vary. Programs are tactile and free. Programs are geared towards families and grades K-12.
Junior Naturalist Program | Year-round: Do you love exploring nature? The Refuge Junior Naturalist Program is a great resource to connect children, families, and nature lovers of all ages to our beautiful natural world. Stop by the visitor center to get your book and earn a patch!
Binocular rental | Year-round: Did you know that you can rent binoculars from the visitor center? Stop by to grab a pair!
