The Grays Harbor Shorebird and Nature Festival is an annual spring event celebrating the migration of birds through the area. Our refuge's Sandpiper Trail is a great place to have a look at shorebirds feeding in the protected mudflats by the thousands. During the festival, volunteers and staff are on hand when the tide is right to help identify birds and enjoy the spectacle!
