Docent-Led Tours

Due to the sensitive nature of the habitat, there is no visitor center and the refuge is generally closed to the public. However, free docent-led tours occur on the second Saturday of each month. Tours are typically an hour to an hour and a half and begin at 10:00 a.m. No registration is necessary.

Enter from Fulton Shipyard Road off of Wilbur Avenue in Antioch. Cross over the railroad tracks, and take the second driveway on the right. There you will find a large Antioch Dunes NWR sign. There's a limited number of free parking spaces available by the entrance for those attending tours.

Note: Tours will be cancelled if there is inclement weather in the forecast.
