Project Description

The Conway and Mattly Ranches were purchased by Mono County, California for their high conservation, cultural, and historic resource values. The Eastern Sierra Land Trust holds a Conservation Easement on both ranches to permanently protect these values. This project will support appropriately managing the meadows for livestock grazing and wildlife through fence modifications, water development for livestock, and irrigation improvements.
