What We Do
We operate a fish lock at the facility that consists of a 40 foot deep chamber that fills with water and allows fish to migrate over Marble Bluff Dam without being lifted out of the water. The fish lock can safely move up to 3,000 fish in 15 minutes. During the height of the spawning season the fish lock is operated 7 days a week and up to 3 shifts per day to maximize the number of fish that we can pass in a day.
