Original caption: An aerial view of Quanah Parker Lake, one of the numerous artificial lakes of the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge, Oklahoma. This is one of the most popular lake on the refuge, providing excellent fishing, swimming and camping facilities on this recreational area. Many visitors are attracted here in order to see the Prairie Dog town located at one end of the lake area, and the herds of Deer, Elk, and Longhorn cattle which freely roam this area. May 1949.
