Blast hole fragement of iron pipe

The military has used the Aleutian Islands Unit of Alaska Maritime NWR for conducting nuclear testing during the Cold War era, building bases, testing radar, and more. This blast hole fragement of iron pipe is one of NCTC Museum artifacts. It is from the blast hole set into Earth for detonation on Amchitka Island.
