Join the Friends of Seney National Wildlife Refuge and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for the Walk for the Wild 5K Challenge starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 12.
Join us on Robinson St. at the Northern Hardwoods trailhead beginning at 9 a.m. for a 10 a.m. start; then walk, run, bike, roll, or move your way along the beautiful trails that are so full of life and wonder.
It's a time for families to enjoy a time together outside. Bring a camera and be a citizen scientist by uploading your photos to iNaturalist. The Pine Creek/Otter Run trail lets you turn back at any point, and is accessible for strollers, wagons, and other wheels.
You can also come to the refuge anytime during National Wildlife Refuge Week (October 12-19) and walk or move for a distance of 5K.
