USFWS and ELSO, Inc. are seeking program facilitators, classroom teachers, and STEAM learning experts to join us for a visioning & storytelling session focused on continued development of B3 Oregon!
The primary goal of Bird by Bird Oregon is to facilitate the connection between students and nature through birds. The US Fish and Wildlife Service is partnering with culturally specific organizations, such as ELSO Inc., to reach out to communities that have been historically excluded from outdoor experiences and public lands which include national wildlife refuges. Aside from the numerous health benefits that come from bird watching, B3 Oregon connects students and their families with community organizations such as ELSO Inc. and the USFWS. A successful Bird by Bird experience requires the input of the key players involved, this includes facilitators, educators, sponsors, and organizers.
