National Public Lands Day is about celebrating public lands in a variety of ways. Come out and try your hand at surf fishing on the refuge beach - a great way to connect with the land and waters of the national wildlife refuge national wildlife refuge
A national wildlife refuge is typically a contiguous area of land and water managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service  for the conservation and, where appropriate, restoration of fish, wildlife and plant resources and their habitats for the benefit of present and future generations of Americans.

. Wonderful volunteers from the Dolphinettes Anglers Club are ready to show everyone how to bait, cast and reel in fish on the beach.

No registration is necessary for this event - stop by anytime between 12:00pm and 4:00pm on Saturday, September 23rd. This is a family-friendly event - all ages are welcome!
