Join park rangers funded through the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative for a paddle at Nehls Memorial Nature Preserve (4400 Muggy Rd. Port Clinton). Learn about the Great Lakes, the benefits of wetlands, and current work and research being conducted as we spend over an hour on the water. All equipment is provided, but please bring water and sun protection. Limited space is available, program is weather dependent, and all programs are subject to change. This paddle is part of our Migration Celebration, a month-long celebration of the fall migration of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and more. By joining this paddle, you will “migrate” ~2 miles.
