November Nature Walks

Cold weather is on its way but November is still a great month for exploring the outdoors. Each of our three November Nature Walks has a unique topic. Come to one or all three! To sign up call (757)301-7329 ext.3106. Please leave a message if we are unable to pick up the phone when you call.

Sunday, November 13: Do you know what's growing around you? Don't worry, we've got you covered! Start learning how to identify plants in any season using bark, seeds and buds.

Sunday, November 20: You've spent all summer attractive butterflies, bees and birds - now how do you get them to stick around for next year? Leaving a little wilderness for wildlife can encourage long-term biodiversity in the garden.

Sunday, November 27: Plants are just pretty - they're powerful! Native species can help control flooding, reduce pollution, slow erosion and look good doing all that and more!
