Please note: a shellfish license from the Town of Rowley is required for adults (18+) who want to dig clams. You are welcome to join the program for educational purposes, but MUST obtain a license to dig. Please use the links below to learn more - licenses must be obtained in person from the Rowley Town Clerk. In the event that the program needs to be rescheduled for weather or high bacteria levels at the clamming flats, one-day permits are typically transferred for the new date at no cost to the permittee.
