Free beginner sketching lesson! Our wonderful friends from Slow River Studio are donating their time and expertise on March 1st from 12:30-2:30 PM to teach a free beginner duck sketching lesson! Learn to capture the beauty of what you see with patient instruction and fun activities. This two-hour adventure includes a duck anatomy presentation led by a refuge biologist, followed by hands-on practice sketching ducks and adding a splash of color with paints. We will finish up with some tips for spotting ducks on the Refuge and adding more art to your daily life.
