Guided Hike with a Ranger - an Iroquois Observations Program

Meet Ranger Jennifer at the Kanyoo Nature Trail parking lot (on Route 77, Lewiston Road) for a guided nature walk. We will stop at different points along the way to learn about the plants, wildlife, and habitats of the Kanoo Nature Trail. 

This program is free of charge. Stop by the Visitor Center (1101 Casey Road) if you need help finding your way to the program location.

Activity level and Accessibility: Easy-active. The trail is, gravel and packed soil with an overall flat terrain. Port-a-jons are located at the trail head. Restrooms and drinking fountains are located at the Visitor Center. There are rest benches or rest areas along this route.

What to bring: If you have them, bring binoculars and favorite field guide. These items are also available to check-out at no cost at the front desk at the visitor center. This program is entirely outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather. Cancellation notices will appear on Facebook.
