Fossil ID and Discussion Workshop

Several fossils (crinoids, brachiopods, and trilobites) pictured for a workshop at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery.

Join hatchery staff and Dr. David Meyer, Professor of Geology, Emeritus of University of Cincinnati in identifying the most common fossils found in the Lake Cumberland region!

Dr. Meyer will begin the workshop with a presentation followed by fossil ID. Participants may bring their own fossils to be identified and explore rock/fossil collections provided by Dr. Meyer!
