Fishing 101 for Kids!
Are you a kid wanting to learn how to fish? If so, this is the perfect time! Join us at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery for a class on the basics of fishing. The class will cover how to tie on a hook, bait, casting, fishing regulations, fishing etiquette, and of course-FISHING! This class is perfect for ages 7 and up-a parent/guardian/adult will need to stay with the child during the class. Everyone signing up for the class will receive a fishing rod, a tackle box, and some fish-themed snacks!
Pre-registration is required. This class is offered FREE of charge but is limited to 15 participants. Sign up by contacting Marsha Hart at marsha_hart@fws.gov or calling 270-343-3797 ext. 203.
