Are you looking for a unique way to explore nature? Join us for the opportunity to try your hand at kayak fishing. This event will allow guests to enjoy about an hour on the water, fishing from a kayak at the Cedar Point National Wildlife Refuge fishing and paddling access, while learning from refuge staff. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets will be provided. The provided life jacket must be worn. It is recommended that guests bring their own fishing gear, but we will have a few poles available to borrow. We will also provide live bait. Participants should also bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, and a towel. Children must be at least 10 years old and able to paddle on their own and always be accompanied by an adult. Anglers 16 years of age and older must have a valid Ohio fishing license.
