Cedar Point Bus Tour

Take a bus tour through Cedar Point National Wildlife Refuge, guided by one of our long-standing refuge volunteers, Becky, on Sunday, September 24th from noon - 3 p.m. Cedar Point NWR is not open to the public, so this is an exclusive opportunity to see the largest contiguous marsh on Lake Erie at 2,445 acres. At Cedar Point NWR, you may get the chance to see many migrating birds, such as early migrating blue-winged teal and green-winged teal. You will likely see bald eagles, Becky’s favorite bird.

This guided bus tour is part of our Migration Celebration, a month-long celebration of the fall migration of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and more. By taking this tour, you will “migrate” 5.5 miles. There are only 14 spots available for this tour. Registration is required. Call 419-898-0014 to register starting August 26th. We will meet at the visitor center, where the bus will leave at noon and return at 3 p.m.
