About Austin Bowen

Program: Marking and Tagging

Current Projects:  He works through the year operating automated and manual tagging and marking trailers, spending most of the year traveling to hatcheries. The fall and winter season are spent PIT tagging fish, biosampling adult returns, dissecting snouts to read coded wire tag data, and reading and ageing scales collected during biosampling events. Austin enjoys helping other departments when time allows and acquiring new projects or tasks to keep busy.
