Program: Passage and Habitat Assessment

Abby is interning with the CRFWCO through the Maintenance and Infrastructure Fellowship Program (MIFP)- a Public Lands Corps partnership between MobilizeGreen and USFWS. As an Adaptation Fellow, she is gaining new skills and experiences to assist in incorporating adaptation and resiliency planning into Service programs in the face of ecological changes. Originally from the Northeast, Abby graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marine biology from the University of New England in 2021. She later went on to complete a master’s degree in environmental science and management at the University of Rhode Island, focusing on wetland management and GIS technology. During this time, Abby also worked multiple seasons as a summer camp counselor educating young students about ecology along the Gulf of Maine coastline.
