Hunt Information
Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge offers waterfowl hunting for youth ages 17 and younger at our Riverboat unit (a separate unit that is otherwise closed to the public) and provides safe and quality education opportunities and introduces young people to hunting heritage. The youth waterfowl hunting program is operated in a manner consistent and compatible with the purposes and goals of the refuge. Hunting is permitted in accordance with all applicable State, Federal, and special refuge regulations. The Refuge's youth hunt application window is from August 15 - October 1, 2025.
The Youth Waterfowl Hunt Application is closed. All notifications have been sent to both selected and non-selected hunters. Please check your junk email if you have not seen an email. If you feel like you may have not received an email, please email the Refuge at tualatinriver@fws.gov with your hunters first and last name you are inquiring for. Staff will respond as quickly as possible.
Time: Self check in 90 minutes prior to legal hunt time. Self check out no later than 1:00 PM.
