The Swiss Army Knife of Road Signs

A couple of years ago the staff of Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge may have thought they were installing just a road sign, but resident refuge black bears (Ursus americanus) soon demonstrated that a wooden road sign is so much more - back scratcher, resting board, chew toy and territorial scent post are some uses that made this road sign so much more than just a road sign.
